HyperPDF 6.0 (Originally "Revit PDF Writer")

It’s here!!  Pinebush Technologies is pleased to announce the availability of the new version HyperPDF 6.0, the easiest to use and highest performance PDF Writer.  We have upgraded performance and now support Windows 7 and XP in the same package.

HyperPDF started out life as “Revit PDF Writer 4.2” as the designated solution for Revit by Autodesk.  When Autodesk dropped direct PDF writing, we made the software more general and released HyperPDF 5.0.  HyperPDF includes an AutoSave feature so that you can easily save all of your PDF output in one directory without a “Save as …” dialog box for each new PDF file.

Software options include HyperPDF Desktop for single computer usage and HyperPDF Network for floating licenses.  We have reduced pricing for HyperPDF Desktop to $49 per license.

BIM Coordinator for AutoCAD Civil 3D and Revit from Autodesk Labs

Overview

The effective organization of project data in shared or related coordinates is essential to effective collaboration across disciplines and good quality project information. BIM Coordinator for AutoCAD® Civil 3D® and Autodesk® Revit® software is a free* technology preview that assists project team members with building and site grids.

Building Grid

Building grids are generally selected based on the layout and shape of the building, usually using the lower left corner of the selected orientation as a reference point. Building grids are established by the lead designer of a project for use by all members of the building design team. This grid ensures that different disciplines' building designs use the same reference for purposes of building analyses, drawing production, and other tasks requiring coordinated building data.

DocLink and ProjectLink from CTC

The CAD Technology Center (CTC) has updated their Revit Express Tools for Revit 2013, including their free Revit Family Tools and Revit Renumbering add-ins.

CTC has also released a couple of new add-ins, DocLink and ProjectLink.These are similar products. DocLink includes a standalone Windows version that  works outside of Revit. ProjectLink does everything that DocLink does (minus the standalone Windows version) and also has the ability to locate all hyperlinks associated with a family within your project.

KKM RevView - A Free View Renaming Tool

With this App you could easily rename “View” and “Callout” in a REVIT project prefixing with the selected Room name. This App will rename all the “View” and “Callout” names in single shot. This App could also be extended to any user requirement.
