Conceptual 3D Cost Modeling with DProfiler

Approximately 70% of construction cost drivers are set during the planning and conceptual phases, yet mainstream BIM software does not produce a reliable cost estimate at these stages. Most early budgets are terribly inaccurate, take too long to produce, and provide no visual way to confirm assumptions with the team. DProfiler™ software is the solution to these problems.

DProfiler™ is a first of its kind Macro BIM solution offering all-in-one:

  • 3D Modeling
  • Cost Estimating
  • Energy Analysis
  • Site Topography & Cut/Fill Analysis
  • Sequencing
  • Real Estate Dashboard

Among others, DProfiler™ exports IFC (model & cost), DWG (model), Excel (cost), and PEE (Timberline estimate) to support different BIM workflows. Beck Technology also has developed a Revit Add-In that creates a native RVT (Revit file) from the DProfiler™ model.

There's more information available on the Beck Technology website.

Nice write up of our software! Thanks, Tim. We have "how to" videos on our website and YouTube channel (through our company link listed above) as well as offer a free 15-day trial for people interested.

You're welcome. I'm happy to help developers and Revit users connect.

How does the add-in work when sending a model form Revit to DProfiler?
