BIM Model Rule Checker is an Autodesk® Revit® plugin that allows users to automatically run rule checks on their Revit models and instantaneously displays results with errors. A wide variety of custom rules can be checked with the automation feature which includes Pipe slope checks, Workset rules, Mounted element checks and Clash detection rules. This customized plugin on Revit will automatically check your Revit models based on a set of checks and generate a compliance report. Model rule checker provides a separate window for each rule and showcases all CSV format results for easy operability. Several pre-built and pretested check sets are already included for you to use immediately or customize. The model rule checker also supports rule checking for the linked models by fetching models from Autodesk® BIM 360® by allowing the batch run feature for all available BIM 360 files as well as local files.

Some of the popular rules on the BIM Model Rule Checker includes:

• Pipe Slope Checks: This allows users to check the slope for any selected piping systems. Users can add, edit or delete slope rules along with the option to add some tolerance that can be ignored.

Automatic Clash Solver for MEP and MEP Up and Down

This tool is designed to automatically solve the clashes between the MEP elements.

Usually, users spend a lot of time solving the clashes between Pipes, Conduits, Cable Trays and Ducts.

This Navisworks to VR workflow allows you to run visual clash detection via Navisworks Clash Detective, view those clashes in VR, create 360-degree panoramas to document those clashes, and then review and share those clashes using a Google Cardboard. After you’ve reviewed clashes, the panorama serves as an easily accessible record of the clash.

Recording allows you to record the brainstorming & discuss the clashes to use the information for resolving the problem. This will greatly help productivity if you are working with different engineers.
