Auto Numbering

From the Autodesk App Store:

Digitteck® AutoNumbering™

(App presentation:

Wasted time in the workplace has become a hot topic of discussion, and businesses are consistently varying to shape their workforce into a well-oiled maximum efficiency machine.

Many organizations are missing opportunities to automate business processes that can save their employees’ time and boost productivity.

With AutoNumbering you will save time by having the app doing the numbering job for you.

You can automatically renumber (marks) :
  • Rooms
  • Doors
  • Windows

You can choose between 3 renumbering algorithms:
  • Straight
    • Elements are renumbered from start to end according to the given direction (up, down, left, right, custom)
  • Straight with strips
    • Elements are grouped in strips of a given height and renumbering will be made from the first strip to the last one, and for each strip, elements are renumbered from start to end according to the given direction.
  • By Curve
    • Draw some curves (one or multiple) using detail lines, select them in the application. Each element will be assigned to the closest curve.
    • The order of selecting the curve is important. Renumbering will be made from the first curve to the last one, elements are renumbered from the start position to the end position of the curve (they do not have to be on the curve, their projection to the curve is considered)

The composer allows you to :
  • Add a prefix to the number
  • Add a suffix to the number
  • Add a special prefix to the number if the element is mirrored
  • Add a special suffix to the number if the element is mirrored
  • Format the number to have 0 trailings (e.g. 1 to be 001)
