Free bimU.io Agile — A Cloud-Based BIM Issue Tracking Platform

From the Autodesk App Store:

Description

bimU.io Agile - Cloud-based BIM issue tracking platform

bimU.io Agile is a Cloud-based BIM issue tracking platform that streamlines the traditional design review process. BIM managers, drafters, designers, and engineers can work together to track down and close out design issues across multiple BIM environments. Free BIMcollab for BIM 360

From the Autodesk App Store:

BIMcollab bridges the gap between BIM applications by offering a broad set of add-ons for all popular BIM tools connecting them together via the BIMcollab cloud. It dramatically reduces time spent on communication about issues and helps to improve model quality: less construction errors, lower costs. The BIMcollab app provides users access to models stored in Autodesk® BIM 360® Docs directly from the BIMcollab web application. Users can review the federated model, create issues or review existing issues without the need for uploading files to a secondary repository or requiring access to a model viewer.

Note: Supported browsers Mozilla Firefox 57.0 and higher, Google Chrome 63.0 and higher, Apple Safari 11.0 and higher, Microsoft Edge 39.14 and higher, Opera 50 and higher.

Free BIM 360 Issues for Navisworks

From the Autodesk App Store:

Throughout all phases of the project multidisciplinary team members need to collaborate and communicate with each other. There are multiple tools and technologies that are used to facilitate those interactions from informal / unstructured mechanisms (e.g. phone calls, emails, f2f meetings) through to highly structured and contractual systems  (e.g. cost, change or bid management systems). Most project teams need a system that provides structured, audited and controlled interactions between team members for tracking formal but not contractual interactions, typically referred to as an issue tracking system. 'Issues' can comprise questions, clarifications, notifications and alerts across anyone in the project team. The issue tracking system provides a mechanism to document issues, assign responsibility and view the status of how the issue resolution is progressing.

Frequently the project participant that is responding to or raising an issue will be a persona that is creating or consuming data in a desktop product such as Autodesk® Navisworks®. This persona is likely to receive issues that have been created by other project participants that need clarity on the design content that has been created, and to collaborate with other project team members as they develop their design and fabrication content. They may also use issues to track and resolve problems relating to clash and coordination problems or changes to the project.

Revizto for BIM 360

From the Autodesk App Store:

Revizto is a real-time, 3D model-based issue tracking software for AEC teams that brings ease-of-use and precision to collaboration and BIM project coordination.

The simple yet powerful Revizto Issue Tracker is a cloud-based single source-of-truth platform for managing all BIM project activities in real-time. The issues created in Revizto reside within the X, Y, Z coordinates and not on a single sheet or model which provides an intelligent connection across multiple views and platforms.

Revizto adds a new dimension to BIM that enables teams to have a multidimensional issue tracking and coordination hub, instantly allowing project members to communicate accountability and address challenges in real-time through the whole project lifecycle, to include project inception, design, construction, and operation.

The Documents is a brand new section of the Revizto app. It provides direct access to project files stored on major CDEs like Autodesk® BIM 360®, so users can work with their live documentation seamlessly from inside Revizto:
  • View files from BIM 360 inside Revizto
  • Add your sheets in PDF format from BIM360 docs and teams to Revizto 2D module
  • Attach documents to issues
  • Link sheets to CDE-hosted PDFs to see the actual version with no need to re-export
  • Make selected documents available offline for on-site work

BIMcollab® BCF Manager for Autodesk® Revit® and Autodesk® Navisworks® v5.2

From the Autodesk App Store:

The BCF Managers by KUBUS add BIMcollab® connectivity as well as BCF file support to Autodesk® Revit®. It provides the ability to create and modify issues and communicate these through BIMcollab or via BCF files (supports version 1.0 and 2.x) directly from within Revit.

Complete Issue Management Ecosystem

The BCF Managers are available for other popular BIM tools such as Navisworks, ARCHICAD, Solibri Model Checker, Tekla Structures and simplebim. Together with our web application, these form the BIMcollab® issue management ecosystem which provides an effective way to communicate BIM issues and thereby providing a more efficient workflow.

BCF files support is also included for working with BIM applications which support BCF natively such as Tekla BIMsight, DDS, MagiCAD and many more.

Issues will contain title, description, status, who's responsible, recommendations or suggestions, and whether a resolution has been implemented. Using BIMcollab® will additionally allow you to add area information, milestones, deadlines as well as implement a formal approval process.

All issues can contain viewpoints with camera position and relevant objects. This allows you to zoom-to the issue-location, highlighting the problematic components in whatever BIM-tool you are.

Time-saving Features Big & Small in the Latest BIM Track Release

From the BIM Track website:

Fresh from the BIM Track factory, we’re happy to introduce major and minor time-saving features: because it all adds up! BIM Track is now happier than ever handling heavy models, can measure in a snap, plays nicely with Revit & Navisworks 2019, and more:

Major optimizations for large models

We’ve done quite a bit of work on the back end to make sure that BIM Track’s web viewer can handle larger models much more efficiently. For example, repeating geometries used to exponentially expand model size. These multiple geometries are now only loaded once in the memory so large models load significantly faster.

BIM Track™ v1.18.1

From the Autodesk App Store:

About This Version

Version 1.17.2, 4/16/2018

We have some exciting new features released with our latest update, particularly for project settings. We're happy to introduce:

Project templates

There can be a lot of detail saved within a project’s settings. To avoid the tedium of recreating these settings on each new project, you can now export a project’s settings for use on new projects. All issue attributes, including custom options, can be assigned to a project template. Save time and make sure you don’t miss any details by using project templates.

Categories as a project setting

On the web viewer, there is already a notion of categories by element type. Users can define the color, visibility & transparency of a category. It is now possible to assign these settings on the entire project. This gives consistent views across teams (helpful for screenshots etc.) and is helpful for comparative visualization. There is still an option for individual users to override these settings on the web viewer, should they need to. Learn how to set up categories as a project setting.
