BIMaven Pro

From the Autodesk App Store:

This app is a productivity improvement tool. It is a tool that consolidates all the useful functions that we as BIM specialist require and use on a daily basis.

We developed this tool based on our workflow, however, feel free to join us with our plugin development.

We will spend time to develop plugins and we hope to provide value to fellow BIM users as well.

Currently, we have the following function in place:
  • To solve recurring usability issues with batch reloading Autodesk® Revit® links.
  • Generation of the site boundary given Eastings and Northings

We plan to add on the following functions as well:
  • CAD files batch reload
  • Clash detection management

Free CAD Link Opener – Open CAD Links in AutoCAD

From the Autodesk App Store:

CAD Link Opener is a free Autodesk® Revit® application that adds a DWG link opening functionality that was previously non-existent.

When this command is executed, the user selects the DWG link and it will be opened in a new Autodesk® AutoCAD® (Or any other DWG viewer/editor that the user has associated the DWG filetype with) instance in case it was not already running. Otherwise, the aforementioned file will be opened in the already running instance of the process.

Such a feature proves to be helpful whenever the user needs to edit the currently linked DWG, by automatically opening this file for him/her and thus saving him/her some time and effort.

The Indispensable Time-Savers for Autodesk Revit

IMAGINiT Utilities for Revit 2019 supports only Revit 2019 products. We also offer versions for Revit 2016, 2017 and 2018. Available in either Standalone or Named-User versions.

NEW in Utilities for Revit 2019*:

Annotation Font Update
Scan for all font references in your model and push updated fonts with an easy-to-use wizard.

Shared Parameter Check
Scan your model for shared parameters that should be migrated to your centralized file, or inconsistent shared parameter identifiers and type/instance settings. Allowing you to maintain more effective shared parameters for everyone.

Family Placement
Look at families that are in a folder structure and - with just 2 clicks - load and place them. Family Placement runs as a Palette inside Revit, so it's available whenever you need it. If your project has a large number of families, this tool will save significant time.

Linking Revit Projects from BIM 360 with Autodesk Desktop Connector

From the CADD Microsystems Blog:

NEW AUTODESK DESKTOP CONNECTOR HEADS-UP ABOUT LINKS

By Jason Kunkel
Nov 28, 2017

We absolutely LOVE Collaboration for Revit, but definitely recognize that one of its issues is the inability to link in other files hosted in your BIM 360 Team project space. That’s why we’re thrilled to hear about the new Autodesk Desktop Connector. Information is still coming out, so we expect this software to evolve over the next few months. During some testing, we wanted to make you aware of a small oddity that might cause some confusion.

The Autodesk Desktop Connector essentially gives you a drive connection to your BIM 360 or Fusion 360 Teams right on your desktop. Like any other cloud drive application, this lets you drag and drop, rename, copy, etc. files in your cloud storage straight from Windows (or macOS).

The HUGE addition, however, is that with the new technology you can (in Revit 2018 only) link files that normally had to be linked from desktop or local network drives. This is a game changer for how useful using a BIM 360 Team project can be. Now anyone in that project can link in a file like a DWG, and anyone accessing a C4R model from the project will see those links.

It had been awhile since I visited the ArchSmarter website. Author Michael Kilkelly has been busy, continuing to publish free Revit macros. He's now calling his collection of free macros the ArchSmarter Toolbox. Below are the macros that are part of the toolbox, along with links to posts covering each in detail:
