Free Revit Properties Extension for Windows Explorer Added to CTC's BIM Project Suite

Earlier today I posted about the latest additions to CTC's BIM Project Suite, FAB Sheets and Parameter Jammer. Over on his What Revit Wants blog, Luke Johnson today posted about a new free tool added to the suite, Revit Properties. This is an extension for Windows Explorer that lists basic information about Revit files.

To use the tool, first install the trial version of the BIM Project Suite. Then right-click on a Revit file in Windows Explorer and select Revit Properties in the context-sensitive menu.

The information displayed in the CTC Revit File Properties window includes:
  • The Revit version used to save the file
  • The Worksharing mode
  • Whether or not the file is a central file
  • The central file path (if applicable)
  • A preview image
  • And more!

Very nice! The CTC BIM suites keep getting sweeter.

There's more information available on the CTC website.
