Product Roundup – Add-ins from StrucSoft Solutions, Including Some Free (Updated)

From the StrucSoft Solutions website...

MWF is the automated framing solution in Revit® for light gauge steel and wood studs.

MWF or Metal Wood Framer is a template-based and rule-driven extension to Autodesk® Revit® for framing. It empowers users to automate the modeling, clash detection & manufacturing of light gauge steel and wood framing including shop drawings, cut lists, BOM, optional CNC output & more.

MWF Pro Metal
MWF Pro Metal utilizes the built-in intelligence of Revit to automate the creation of light gauge steel framing across virtually any construction project. Developed in conjunction with industry experts, MWF Pro Metal’s built-in tools and automation allow users to easily frame entire projects while simultaneously creating schedules, material cut lists, framing elevations, and fully dimensioned 2D shop drawings. The tool of choice for professionals framing everything from bathroom pods, right up to billion dollar healthcare projects.

MWF Pro Wood
Are you a home builder looking to leverage the most powerful 3D building design software on the market, but need to provide construction grade shop drawings and cut lists? MWF HomeBuilder Suite for Autodesk Revit will automate wood framing of walls, floors, ceilings, rafters and trusses and provides excellent value. Whether you are creating single- or multi-family housing, using stick, panelized or modular construction methods, MWF HomeBuilder Suite will take your Revit model from the drafters table to the job site.

MWF Pro Suite
MWF Pro Suite is a bundle of MWF Pro Metal and MWF Pro Wood. Details may be found in either article related to these two products.

MWF Advanced Metal
Extend the power and reach of both Revit® & MWF with MWF Advanced. These upgrades to the MWF Pro Series allow engineers and estimators to engineer and determine optimal elements for your project. Take advantage of a finite element analysis engine and the almost limitless amount of configurations you expect from MWF.

MWF CNC
Turn Revit into a powerful manufacturing tool. Export your wall, floor and truss information directly into a format readable by your company’s light gauge roll former or automated wood saw. Many operations are supported, including multiple knock-outs, notching, bird’s mouth cuts, hole cuts, rafter tails and member labels. MWF CNC modules now support: AMS Controls, Beck Automation, Howick, Hundegger, Knudson, Studmesiter, Pinnacle and Weinmann. We also support standard BTL format and WUP format for large panel building machines. If your roll former, automated saw or panelizing machine is not listed, feel free to contact us regarding custom outputs.

MWF Panel Stacker
MWF Panel Stacker is the first release in our suite of shop floor management tools extending the power of our popular MWF panelization software. MWF Panel Stacker allows the user to organize wall or floor panels based on their own manufacturing, construction or sequencing priority requirements into zones. These zones are then stacked and optimized based on user-input shipping criteria and organized onto trucks. The powerful 2D/3D interface gives the user the ability to visualize and reorganize panels freehand if necessary at any point in the process. Customizable reports for packing slips, bundles and panel output can be generated and output in Excel and PDF.

MWF SIPs
MWF SIPS puts all the intelligence and automation of our Revit®-based MWF software into the SIP builder’s hands. MWF SIPS recognizes wall types, defines materials, thicknesses, shapes and it automatically lay out your SIP panel project. Number your SIP panels, quantify splines, tracks and sills then output all the information directly to your shop floor with optional CNC output.

FREE Revit Apps

Add to your Revit® experience with StrucSoft Solutions’ time-saving free applications.

Column Splitter
Splits one or multiple structural or architectural columns by point(s), level(s), or reference plane(s).

Web Stiffener
Add web stiffeners on one or more W-beams either by selecting the individual points or a distance over two points. The user can define spacing, offsets, insertion location, insertion side and stiffener size.

StrucCope
Automatically copes a selected beam/column with any number of intersecting beams/columns, or copes all the intersecting beams/columns with the selected beam/column and applies an offset specified by the user (supports metric and imperial input formats since version 1.0.1). Now supports Revit 2016.
