The Week that was in Revit Add-ons for February 6-12, 2017

New

From the Autodesk App Store, we posted about the self-descriptive yet awkwardly-named Purge (Unplaced spaces / Unplaced Rooms).

From around the Internet, we posted for the first time about a free macro from HKS LINE for importing Excel into Revit.

Also from HKS LINE, we posted about the free Elk Plugin for importing topography into Dynamo (or Grasshopper).

Updated

From the Autodesk App Store, we posted about updates to ElumTools and WebGL Exporter For Autodesk Revit. The latter one added support for exporting to virtual reality headsets.

For additional App Store updates not mentioned here, please check out our latest roundup.

From around the Internet, we posted about Revizto version 4.3. We also posted about a new free version of the data format exchange cloud-based platform Flux, #FreeFlux.

Miscellany

After learning of Autodesk CEO Carl Bass' resignation, our editor Tim Grimm wrote a piece detailing how Mr. Bass once gave this site and his career a welcome boost.

We also posted about a free "Making The Most Out of Dynamo Player" webinar that will be happening on February 16.

Trendsetting

Our post about Metamorphosis, a free and open-source change analysis tool, remained in the top ten for the week, as did our post from 2014 on the free Align add-in and our roundup of Autodesk product enhancements for Revit 2016.
