Quick Filter Add-in for Revit

The plug-in Quick filter allows the selection of elements in the current view or the entire project by applying selection filters on the parameter values.

Elements matching the criteria can be added or removed from the current selection set.

The plug-in is available in a 15-day trial version. During this evaluation period, you can use and test for free, without limitation, all the functionalities offered by the tool. At the end of the trial period, the application will be automatically locked.

You can purchase an annual license at any time through the functionality provided for this purpose in the application.

Owner Standards Check Add-in for Revit

The app provides a tool to check the model for formatting compliance with company or owner standards.  The tool consists of Quick Checks - a series of basic checks for project information (file name, project name, project number, address) and Format Checks - more detailed review of model elements to ensure compliance with standard shared parameters, omniclass numbers, family naming, workset naming, floor plan names, and wall types.  The tool will generate a report for each Format Check that can be exported to .csv format for review.

Dynamo 0.8 Release

We have been heads down for a long time now, building the newest release. After many rounds of feedback from users on pre-release builds, we are very excited to get some long awaited functionality out. The list of new toys and capabilities is long and exciting, and there has also been a lot of behind-the-scenes reorganizing of code to enable faster, more stable development. Some of the more evident changes are a significant simplification of units and their interaction with Revit and a more user-friendly interface around the Library UI. Please read the list below and explore the links for a rundown of the changes.

The jump from 0.7 to 0.8 is very different than the change from 0.6 to 0.7 was. While there is a new look and feel, the fundamental changes are improvements to old methods and new tools in addition to old tools. Your 0.7 workflows should continue to work just fine, and generally will be able to be simplified from what they were. If you are already happily working away on 0.7.5, have no fear, you can also install 0.8 side-by-side with 0.7.5 (during side-by-side installation, there is also a one time copy/paste of your existing Packages from the 0.7 to the 0.8 installation folder). We do encourage everyone to upgrade your existing workflows to the new builds to take advantage of the fixes and features. Users with pre-release builds of 0.8 are encouraged to fully uninstall before installing the released 0.8

New Library UI

Perhaps the most obvious change in Dynamo 0.8.0 is in the Library UI, which has a more visually expressive aspect, with icons and enhanced tooltips that we hope will make finding and choosing functions easier and more enjoyable.

Code Compliance Add-in for Revit

Rated Door: Scans the entire project for rated walls and displays a list of every door that is hosted inside of a rated wall. The app will provide a report showing the door information (level, door type, room, and fire rating). The report can be exported to .csv format for review.

Damper: Scans the entire project for clashes between rated walls, ductwork and dampers. This check must be run from the file that contains the ductwork and dampers. If very few walls exist in the current project you will be prompted to select a linked file that contains walls. The app will provide a report of all dampers in the model as well as clashes between ductwork and rated walls. The report can be exported to .csv format for review.

Free Scope Box Reorder Add-in for Revit

After creating scope boxes in larger projects you might notice the scope box selection drop down menu is not ordered correctly - instead of being ordered alphabetically or numerically, it's ordered in created order. That is, the order you or somebody else created the scope boxes.

In larger projects, this quickly gets out of hand and quite a long time is spent scrolling up and down the properties drop down menu, trying to find and select the correct scope box.

Scope Box Reorder is a small tool which is able to reorder those scope boxes with a single click, it detects the correct numerical order and also allows you to manually adjust the reordering with drag and drop functionality.

The function works by re-creating the scope boxes exactly the same, but in the correct order and also maintains all scope box selections already made in the project.
