Robot Structural Analysis Add-Ins Now on the Autodesk App Store

Effective October 25, 2018, there's now a Robot Structural Analysis page on the Autodesk App Store. We'll be including add-ins published there from now on.

We've also added the following to our site to make it easy for you to find Robot Structural Analysis related add-ins:
  1. A Robot Structural Analysis label to applicable posts
  2. A link to the App Store page under "Other Revit Add-in Resource Sites"
  3. A Robot Structural Analysis quick access badge

Free Composite Beam Design Extension for Robot Structural Analysis

From the Autodesk App Store:

Using Composite Beam Design Extension, you can quickly design and check the behavior of composite beams. You can also design an entire composite floor system on a floor by floor basis within a Robot model.

  • This application lets you select from two methods of calculating internal forces: Internal Engine and Robot Structural Analysis (for advanced users).
  • All design is based on ANSI/AISC 360-10.
  • This application works for composite steel beam design, but you can also use it for non-composite design.
  • The basic functionalities include interactive and automatic design of composite beams.
  • Full bidirectional integration with the Robot model is achieved using this application.

Free Structural Analysis Toolkit – Interoperability with Robot Structural Analysis

Editor's Note: While we've posted previously about Structural Analysis Toolkit, our old posts are severely out of date so we're posting the current information here to coincide with our new coverage of Robot Structural Analysis add-ins on the Autodesk App Store.

From the Autodesk App Store:

The toolkit includes the following components:

Link with Autodesk® Robot™ Structural Analysis Professional
Use it to perform advanced analyses after transferring a Revit analytical model to Autodesk® Robot™ Structural Analysis Professional (Robot). It is a structural analysis and design software application. It enables you to perform linear and nonlinear analyses of any structure type and shape and to design steel, concrete, and timber elements of a structure.
