Free My Notebook for Autodesk® Revit® v2.1

From the Autodesk App Store:

My Notebook is a cloud-based Autodesk® Revit® add-in that helps you to take notes right inside the Revit Model.

Since notes are saved in a cloud, when you share your model, the notes are automatically transferred.

Batch Fill Circuit Parameters

From the Autodesk App Store:

This tool is designed to fill in the circuits parameters (like wire size shared parameters or any other parameter) with reference to the circuit breaker size.

The tool will save a lot of time and enhance Autodesk® Revit® file performance.

glTF Exporter

From the Autodesk App Store:

Get a 3D model of your Autodesk® Revit® project in glTF format as it appears in a 3D view.

Addin gives you the options to:
  • Choose to export materials or not,
  • Select the level of details for geometry,
  • And bake meshes by element or by material!

Fast export, tiny size, excellent visual assets support, and precise geometry handling lets you exhibit any Revit model in the most beautiful way in a growing number of applications which support the glTF 3D format.

Output files include textures for materials, glTF version 2.0 json, and binary files.

Grid Location Stamper

From the Autodesk App Store:

Get the information of the exact grid location of any element in your project.

Using a project parameter named "GRID LOCATION STAMP", you can have all the data of the location of any element in your model. This parameter can be used in schedules to improve your project.

Free Instance Parameter Bulk Edit

From the Autodesk App Store:

Bulk edit any length using this app. Add, subtract, multiply or divide the current Parameter value by typing the mathematical operator before the desired value (eg. +20; -15; *1.5; /2). You can also overwrite all values by typing just the number, without an operator.

The App gives list of Common Instanced Parameters for all selected Elements.

NavisClashNav – Navigate Clash Reports Generated by Navisworks Inside Revit

From the Autodesk App Store:

Navigate clash reports generated by Autodesk® Navisworks Manage® inside Autodesk® Revit®. This tool does not require Navisworks to be installed in order to work.

NavisClashNav imports Navisworks clash reports (text format) and convert them into a spreadsheet compatible manager, with clash previews. Dynamically link to clash elements, similar to Switchback, but without the need for Navisworks Manage.

Saved Viewpoints

From the Autodesk App Store:

Saved Viewpoints allows you to cut down on the number of views in your Autodesk® Revit® model.  Saving a viewpoint will save the zoom location, sectioning settings, crop settings, and 3D camera settings.

Your viewpoints are organized into folders for quick grouping.  Viewpoints for a plan view will be available for all plan views of that level.  Viewpoints for 3D views will be available for any 3D view.

You can make plan view folders Global which will make them available to all plan views regardless of level.

You can easily create a cropped or zoomed view around any room in your model.

Entools Broom is what you need if you don’t have time to clean the sample.

InstaCrete – Create Concrete Structures

From the Autodesk App Store:

Building a 3D model at the design stage has its advantages. InstaCrete users will find that building & editing the 3D model of a concrete structure is an easy process.

The modelling is done by providing the data through the dialogue boxes. As the positioning of the construction objects is done through the dialogue boxes the user is not required to work in the graphics window. It becomes a seamless process in which the user provides the proper sizes to build the model through the dialogue boxes. As all the dialogue boxes work almost similarly, the learning curve of the user is short & he becomes productive to the organization within a short period.

  • InstaCrete helps to build almost all the structural members such as footings, columns (rectangular & circular), beams, floors, walls & stairs.
  • Offers more accurate 5D analysis through concrete settings tool.
  • The material cost variation during the execution of the project can be taken care of.
  • By using the "opening" tool, the user can collaborate with MEP engineers.
  • The property "phase" has been used to collaborate with the project management team.
  • The issue related to the joint between the stair & the floor has been partially resolved.
  • The schedules/ quantities/costs are directly drawn into the Excel sheet.

Isolator

From the Autodesk App Store:

Isolator gives you the ability to easily find and view specific Architectural, Structural or MEP items.

You can isolate by Categories, Families and/or Types. You can Select items in your model and isolate all similar items. Items can be selected in either the current model or linked models. You can select whether to change the color of isolated items. You can also specify how the other model items are displayed. They can be hidden or, made transparent and can have their color changed for better contrast. The isolator can work in the current view or all open views of the current model.

Autodesk® Revit® Parts are isolated by their original specification.

Tag the Second Connector (in Electrical or Lighting Fixtures)

From the Autodesk App Store:

This tool is designed to tag the second connector in the electrical fixtures or lighting fixtures which contain 2 electrical connectors.

As known, you can create one circuit tag for the electrical fixtures or the lighting fixtures families but you can't tag the second connector if it exists.

This tool will do the following:
  1.  The tool will create a shared parameter called "Circuit_Number_2". It will be defined under the electrical fixtures category and the lighting fixtures category as instance and text parameter.
  2.  The tool will load the circuit tag family which is prepared to tag the second connector it called "Circuit_Number_2.rfa.
  3.  After running the tool the  "Circuit_Number_2" the parameter will be filled with data from the second connector.
  4.  You can easily tag the fixtures using the loaded tag "Circuit_Number_2.rfa".
