Introduction

The Autodesk BIM Interoperability Tools for Revit are a suite of Revit add-ins that are designed to support a data driven workflow leveraging the power of the Revit model as
a database.

The suite of four original tools, Classification Manager, Model Checker and
Configurator, and the COBie Extension, have recently been updated with a unifying
look, more features, and user input to make assigning, validating, and sharing BIM data
easier.

This [post] will detail the new features that have been incorporated into the tools with
this new release, Version 7.

Free Autodesk Model Checker Configurator v7

Configurator 

1. Updated user interface elements and layout have been applied for ease and consistency.

2. The help fly-outs have new links to multiple resources and are accessible on all the tool’s windows.

3. The “Setup” or “Open” dialog box has been redesigned and applied to all the tools making it easier to understand the functions of each section and easier adoption.

Free Autodesk Model Checker for Revit v7

General 

1. The nomenclature and naming of elements in the Model Checker were thoroughly reviewed and updated to try to avoid confusion between the tools and Revit and to make understanding the structure of checkset easier.

2. Updated user interface elements and layout have been applied for ease and consistency.

3. The help fly-outs have new links to multiple resources and are accessible on all the tool's windows.
