Export Families
What: Batch Exports selected non-system family to disk.
Why:  Revit can export all families to files and also individual families to file. But it cannot export a particular selection and it cannot organize them into folders by category.
Features: Can organize categories into separate folders. Select individual families or groups using tree selection.

Renumber Items
What: Powerful renumbering tool. Renumbers almost anything in the order selected or all at once with directional sweep.
Why: Renumbering Revit items is a pain!!!
Features: Suffixes, prefixes, user increments, integer and alpha sequences, case matching, renumbers types and instances.

Free COBie Basic Software

Revit Add-in Giveaway – The Award-Winning ViewSync!

dp Stuff Utils for Revit 2015 is a collection of time saver legacy addins upgraded for 2015 version with a few bug fixes. This time instead of downloading each addin separately all the dp Stuff tools from the Utils series were bundled into one installer. The fixes from 2014 version will mainly affect the users of metric Revit files. See description of each tool below:

ChangeTextCase

ChangeTextCase 2014 Revit AddinChangeTextCase 2014 Revit Addin allows you to alter the case of Revit Text elements. You will be able to chose between: UPPERCASE, lowercase, TitleCase, SentenceCase.

Apart from that you would be able to chose whether you want to alter selected text notes only or all visible text notes in the active view.

CopySelectionIds

CopySelectionIds Revit Addin dp StuffMeet CopySelectionIds addin! I think it took me 10 minutes or so to write and compile this tool. It has absolutely no UI and is the simplest tool on Earth (even simpler than any “Hello World” sample). But who cares – if you are like me and use Revit’s IDs of Selection command a lot and copy Element IDs to clipboard to use them later then it can cut the actions to achieve that goal in half! Now your process of copying selection IDs to clipboard looks precisely like that:

1. select elements
2. run CopySelectionIds shortcut (you have got to assign a shortcut to this one!)

That is it – the IDs are on the clipboard!

Randomizer 2015 Revit Add-in

Need to create random appearance in Revit? Randomizer 2015 Revit Addin lets you randomize instance parameters of family instances. Random pattern “trick” is being used very often by designers so hopefully this will save a hassle of mimicking random behavior “by hand”. The way it works – it lets you locate the instance parameter that you want to randomize among the family instances in your document by selecting the Category, then Family and then Type of your objects.

This is an updated version of modeless Randomizer addin for Revit 2015

Issues Fixed / Functionality Added:

• This add-in is now a modeless form. The form stays active and you can keep Randomizing without having to re-run the add-in after every pass. Also you can open or cycle through already open views with the add-in being active.
•  The Add/Override button allows you to override randomization values of already submitted parameters.
• Fixed the “native unit” issue that was giving troubles to people working in metric files. Now all the user input values are treated exactly according to Project Unit settings. Also for Angle parameters Randomizer doesn't convert them to radians and works directly in degrees (if the Angle values formatting in Project units is set to degrees)
