From the Autodesk App Store:
Description
BIMright is a suite of powerful features that automates your work within Revit which saves Revit users hours of time and ensures data efficiency.
Here is the list of features:
Data Reference - A live reference to data in the project, for example, the total of the length parameter of all walls of a specific level, and then you can bind it to a text note to update text in your project as you change the model, or you can bind it to global parameters so you can use it with formulas.
Text Note Binding - This allows you to bind a Text Note to a Data Reference, Project Information or Global Parameter so it will be updated with live project data as you change the model, and you can also bind to a cell in a linked Excel file.

Bind Text Note to Excel cell. Bind Excel cell to Data Reference or Global Parameter. |
Global Parameter Binding - This allows you to bind a Global Parameter to a Data Reference so it will be updated with live project data as you change the model, and you can also bind to a cell in a linked Excel file.
Bind Global Parameter to Data Reference or to Excel Link. |
Project Information Binding - This allows you to bind a Project Information Parameter to a Data Reference so it will be updated with live project data as you change the model, and you can also bind to a cell in a linked Excel file.
Category Join - Join multiple categories so you can pass parameter values from one element to an element of another category, for example, the type mark parameter of a wall to a parameter of a door inside this wall, or the total of all window areas to a parameter of the room (similar to table joins in relational databases).
Category Join to pass wall type name to door. |
Category Join to pass the total number of bedrooms in a area, to the area element. |
Excel Link - Synchronize in realtime between Revit and Excel, updates as you change the model (no import and export),
You can bind an Excel cell to a Data Reference or to a Global Parameter.
Bind a Revit Text Note or Global Parameter to Excel cell.
Two-way binding from Revit schedules to Excel tables.
A two-way binding from a Revit schedule to an Excel table. A schedule column is populated from an Excel formula. |
Note: all of these are getting updated automatically as you change the model.
