The Week that was in Revit Add-ons for the Week of January 2, 2017

New

New Revit-related add-ins posted on the Autodesk App Store last week included MarkUp, for note-based collaboration, the free and self-explanatory FBX Exporter, and RTV Columns for Explorer, for adding Revit file version information to Windows Explorer and associated dialog boxes.

From around the Internet, we also posted for the first time about Conductor – Trello tools for Revit, and StiKey Notes, for simple, integrated keynoting (with thanks to The BIMsider for the tip).

Updated

On the Autodesk App Store, LightUp and QuickSelect received relatively significant updates. For additional App Store updates not mentioned here, be sure to check out our latest roundup of new and updated add-ins on the Autodesk App Store.

From around the Internet, we posted about an update to the Autodesk Insight 360 plugin.

Miscellany

We posted about a couple practical applications of Dynamo, including showing changes between two 'snapshots' of a model and fire exit route computation.

We also posted about the current expiration dates of free Revit-related technology previews from Autodesk Labs.

What Trended

Our two recent posts on Dynamo, re displaying changes and exit route calculations, spent the week perched at the top of our Trending list.

Our recent posts about Revolution Design spent much of the week in the Top 10, including re-welcoming them as a sponsor, and posts about their products Keynote Manager, Selection Master, and workFlow.

Others that spent most of the week in the Top 10 included our posts about the new Conductor add-in and the most recent updates to Insight 360, as well as last week's "week that was" article.
