Free Backup File Organizer

From the Autodesk App Store:

With this add-in installed, each time a backup file is created by Autodesk® Revit® it is automatically moved into a Backups folder in the same directory.

Options:
  • Specify the maximum number of backups per project that you want to keep.
  • Specify the backup folder name.
  • Optionally turn on or off for project files, families & templates.

Editor's Note: I hate Revit backups with a mad passion. I mean, let's make three extra copies of your 250 MB project file in your working folder. Why Not?! Never mind that our IT department has a backup system that's state of the art, or that we can use the Restore Backup command on workshared projects. Grrrr... but I digress. Anyway, thank you Joe for this add-in–it's Editor's Award Choice award worthy!
