Surfboard – Electrical is an Autodesk® Revit® add-in that uses your Revit families and automatically places them in the Revit model according to the parameters you provide.
Light fixture spacing and placement are calculated from the following inputs:
- Revit Family and type selection
- The lumen output value of the fixture
- Desired foot-candle level
- Work plane height
- Coefficients of utilization from the fixture cut sheet
Receptacle placement is done by the following inputs:
- Revit Family and type selection
- Receptacles placed are either 6” from the door or N Receptacles evenly spaced on each wall
Light Switches
- Revit Family and type selection
- Switches will be placed 6” on the swing side of each door in the space noted
