What's New in IdeateApps for Revit

The latest improvements to IdeateApps have been designed for use with Revit 2016-2019. All functionality is identical across Revit versions, unless noted otherwise. See below for a summary of the improvements and new tools added into the November 2018 release.

GDPR Compliance

This release contains changes to our standalone and trial activation processes to comply with the Global Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Our network licensing has always existed behind your firewall and has therefore always met this criteria. Review our privacy policy online.

Improvements & Fixes:

Ideate ReNumber

This version of Ideate ReNumber has been modified to support multi-category rules. Now instead of needing one rule for Lighting Fixtures, and another rule for Lighting Devices, you can use the new rule called "MC-All" rule. The benefit of these rules is that you can sequentially number elements that are similar while using the same rule.

Ideate ViewCreator

Ideate ViewCreator has been improved in this release to better handle visibility and graphic override conditions when duplicating plans by level.

Bundled Installation and Licensing

Installation

We've created a bundled installer for a more streamlined user experience; get all versions installed at once with fewer clicks.

MSI files are still provided as version-specific.

Licensing

Now use one license code to activate all versions 2016-2019 - all standalone licensed customers must get a new license code to use this release! Activate or deactivate only one time to make all versions to work, or return the license for all versions at once.
